Start small, think big!
At the root of everything that we are trying to accomplish is the belief that America has a mission. We are a nation of freedom, living under God, believing all citizens must have the opportunity to grow, create wealth, and build a better life for those who follow. If we live up to those moral values, we can keep the American dream alive for our children and our grandchildren, and America will remain mankind’s best hope.
I know this, because I come from a small business background. Over my years in public service, whether it was in the U.S. Army or helping people, I have consistently tried to work hard and this company has a proud record of accomplishment in the area of cleaning. This administration has a proud record of accomplishment in the area of small business.
As a United States Army Brigade Barracks Inspector for 10 years, inspecting barracks of every racial and ethnic group, this company never discriminates. For the past 15 years, I have been working with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as an International Investigator. Currently I am also maintaining the janitorial services for the Inspector General’s office and the Storage & Distribution facility.
The clients we have speak highly of the 4-A Cleaning Company. We were recently nominated by Who’s Who in Baltimore in recognition of our best business performance. We have also operated and controlled a franchise under Tower Cleaning Systems, (the best janitorial company on the east coast) for 25 years. A major factor in the emergence of the dynamic small business is the increase in women-owned small business. During the present decade, women are expected to provide 2 out of every 3 net additions to the national workforce, putting together an effort and detailed business plan. It is the blueprint to your success.
My 4 years in private industry and 24 years in the Federal Government have led me to become only a perfectionist, and nothing less will do. My managerial background comes from supervising the employees under me and making sure that everything is in proper order.
Working all of my adult life, has led me to balance my family, work, and personal life, but my motto is: “If you can’t do the job right, don’t do it all. Any job worth doing is worth doing well.”
And to reiterate on what the President says, “Start small, think big.”
